This event is tailored to friends getting together and showing off what ya got and by god what ya can do with it. Were gonna Fly em, Huck em, Drool over them, BBQ and BS till the sun goes down, Night fly a bit and get up Saturday and start all over.

Faro Field Flyers Present the Second annual Lewis County “Big Bird Bash”
Dates - July 17th and 18th 2015
Location - Faro Field located in pleasant valley just southwest of Chehalis Washington
This event is tailored to Friends up and down the west coast to get together and simply fly, Hangout, Show off you latest work of art have a great time with friends without the stress of a contest atmosphere.
Pilots and thier families are welcome to show up the afternoon of the 16th, Dry camping is available and encouraged to take advantage of the evenings for the night flying.
We are asking for a $10.00 per day landing fee. Donations to help cover expenses of hamburgers, hotdogs for and condiments will be appreciated.
We also ask that attendees bring any side dishes along with cuts of meat they would like as barbeques will be available for use during the pot luck dinners.
We welcome and encourage all types of airplanes from Antique, Military, Civilian to 3D as long as you bring with a smile on your face and a good BS tale to tell.
Faro Field sits on 150 acres and has a 1700 ' x 60' runway in Pleasant Valley with beautiful backdrops of hills in front of us with the covered bridge behind us. Wind is usually straight down the run except on rare occasions.
It is serene place to fly and we are very lucky to have such wonderful land owners that welcome our flying there. Please be respectful of their wishes and their hospitality.

dry camping is available starting the afternoon of the 16th through mid day Sunday the 19th. We will make a few barbeques available for use.
We will have hotdogs and hamburgers available during lunch hour
Directions to the field
From I-5 take exit 77 - The Pe Ell / Raymond exit
Turn left onto WA-6 W/W Main St - head West
Continue to follow WA-6 West for 2.3 mi
Turn left onto WA-603 South for 0.7 mi
Turn right onto Twin Oaks Rd for 2.0 mi
Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Rd
Follow Pleasant Valley Rd to 1354 on the left or East side of the rd.
Turn in just past the barn, we will have gate open during the event.
